2012 ASTON MARTIN VIRAGE COUPE
Aston Martin has taken a new shell Virage Virage Coupe and Volante. Both models are based on the VH architecture car - so that they are "new" ... Barber - and is designed to crack the lineup between the DB9 and DBS. Tied to an aluminum frame, aluminum, magnesium and composite body may be familiar 6.0-liter V12 is rated at 490 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Transmission standard (rear-drive axles) is a six-speed automatic 'Touchtronic 2' transmission, which can be used for 00-60 seconds and about 4.5 time maxing out a top speed of 186 mph.
The suspension is double wishbone all four corners, where the Aston Martin adaptive damping system (ADS), the Sport mode of the series. The wheels are 20 inch alloy wheels, disc brakes with carbon-ceramic on all four corners (six-piston front calipers, four-piston rear), in which Pirelli P Zero tires as standard.
No word yet on pricing or availablity (please read the press release after the break), but we will get all the details on the new Hall of Virage at the Geneva Motor Show next week's motor.
